No. Every tool on Themex runs in the browser and produces output you can use immediately — CSS tokens, copyable specs, downloadable templates. Figma is not required at any plan level.
A Themex system is a curated set of design tokens (colours, type scale, spacing, radius) packaged as CSS custom properties. You download the :root block and drop it into your project.
Yes. Free plan systems include a personal-use licence. Builder and Studio plans include a commercial client licence covering unlimited client projects.
The System Builder lets you define your own colour palette, type scale, and spacing scale, then generates a CSS :root block you can paste into any project. It saves your work locally in the browser.
Paid plans can be cancelled at any time. We offer a pro-rated refund within 7 days of initial payment if the platform does not meet your needs.
Annual billing is available and saves you two months compared to monthly. Contact [email protected] to switch your plan.

Instrument state (System Builder preferences, audit history) is stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not transmit or store that data on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. You can downgrade to Free or cancel entirely from your account settings at any time.
